Feelings don’t care about your facts

I don’t think facts actually matter anymore.

4 years of Trump I watched facts not matter.

4 years of Biden I watched facts not matter. Especially his final 13 months.

(I’ll be honest all I know about Obama is he liked giving money to corporations, especially ones that made weapons)

I think we’re full tilt into Relativism. It’s why Trump can tweet he can’t break any laws and lifelong Christians can say “Yeah! He can’t!”

So I can say all these facts about Musk or Trump and I know a certain set of friends will cheer it on and a certain set will get all in their feels and defend them vehemently (make no mistake, Musk is a chump).

I also know when I talked about Biden blowing up Gaza, advancing anti-free speech laws, & deporting more immigrants than Trump did in his first term the roles were reversed. (Trump is 3rd place by the way. Obama holds the top spot, and I believe Trump sees it as a competition to win).

Anyways. No amount of facts or truths will matter. Feelings in fact have won. So I’m grateful for the one truth, the absolute truth, that men who depict themselves as kings will be brought to their knees, and this insignificant earthly kingdom will be wiped away for the new heaven and new earth.

Again, this won’t make me a passive person. A “thoughts & prayers” Christian. However, I’ll pray fervently for the fall of wicked men. It’s my faith that motivates me to continue to speak the truth, to feed the hungry, clothe the poor, and care for the orphan, the widow, and the foreigner. All this because in the end, my orthodoxy is more important the being a Democrat or a Republican.

But don’t get it twisted, if I can bench more than you I’m not arguing with you.
